Adam is a very friendly person, and I think he genuinely cares about his clients. Here are 3 positives and 2 negatives from my experience as a first-time homebuyer: Positives: 1. He knows the market well and helped me trim down the list of neighborhoods to focus on. 2. He negotiated the closing date back, which let me skip a month of mortgage payments. 3. He negotiated the sales price of the home down. Negatives: 1. For the home I’m closing on, he told me a rate was for a conventional loan with 20% down (which I was going with) — but I later learned it was actually an FHA loan rate. I only found this out the night we sent the commitment message to the builder. 2. I was informed about the PID after sending the earnest deposit. I feel like I should have known this much earlier in the process. Adam wasn’t able to attend the closing due to family issues, which I completely understand. Overall, he’s knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and a great person — just be sure as a first-time buyer to double-check the details along the way.

Adam Carter is the best realtor I’ve ever been in contact with. I work with him as a home inspector, so I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of his clients. I’ve never known any one of them that wasn’t completely satisfied. Adam is always available to communicate, which is hugely important in this business. Okay, Adam is hands down an amazing realtor. There were 4 members of my family looking at the house and we had so many questions for him. I didnt know anyone when I came down to the Austin area to look at homes last summer. I met Adam at a house in Lockhart and he was so friendly and super helpful.
