La Cima in San Marcos

Last week we shared some reasons why you may want to have an agent with you when buying a brand new home. This week we wanted to show you the new La Cima neighborhood on the west side of San Marcos that actually has an inventory of homes ready to buy.

Situated in the hills above Purgatory Creek, La Cima is an 800 acre community that is being built around a large central park. It will have multiple pools, miles of hike/ bike trails, and recreational fields. Our favorite feature of this neighborhood is the proximity to so many beautiful hill country views and green spaces.

With it's own 700 acre habitat conservation preserve added to that of the neighboring Purgatory Creek natural area, the green space in the area will total more than 1800 acres. It would be one of the largest urban natural areas in the country. Some of these backyard views are amazing.

Builders include Highland, Perry Homes, Taylor Morrison and Coventry, a few of which are offering buyer incentives. Perry Homes has $20,000 cash to use for closing costs or to help offset rising interest rates. Highland is offering $15,000 towards closing with homes starting at $492,000 for 1600 sq. ft. After the insanity of the market in the last year, it is nice to see a few homes ready to go and that wait times are more realistic.
If you're interested in La Cima or taking a tour with us, give us a call.
We appreciate you,
Adam and Michelle
